Subaru WRX Injector Mod

A Quick and easy way to get 740cc flowing injectors is to modify the stock injectors. There is much debate about the drivability and idle quality when doing this mod and proper computer tuning is an absolute must. With that in mind, if you don't have the cash to purchase new injectors, you can follow these easy steps and then have your injectors flow tested, reinstalled, and your car tuned. First remove the factory injectors, for instructions  click here. Once you have the injectors removed you will notice that at the end there is a small cap with a weld around the base of the injector. Using a small rotary grinder or a dremel tool, gently grind the weld flush to the injector. As the weld is ground down the cap will fall off. Smooth out any remaining burrs using ultra fine grit sandpaper. That's all there is to it. Now get them flow tested from a reputable injector service facility such as RC Injectors and reinstall them. Computer tuning is highly recommended on a dyno.
